The mission of the Department is to produce and disseminate theory, principles, practice and know-how of computation in the information age. This is required for the critical analysis, design, evaluation, and improvement of computing systems in the context of computers and human, computers and the society, computers and the industry and services. It is our objective to prepare students to be successful in computer engineering practice .Also they should to be able to pursue advance studies in computer engineering and information technology, on a universal competitive basis.
We firmly believe in the doctrine that students should be a part of the ever-expanding technology and so they should be aware of the recent advancements. In present IT sector, demand for skilled professionals is booming again and the industry needs well-trained Engineers. The department ensures providing a better IT Infrastructure to its students so as to build their IT Skills and make them competent in the IT Sector. This is achieved through a very well appointed computer lab.
The students are focused with the use of conceptual understanding of core domain areas in Computing as well as enhanced programming skills disseminating their analytical abilities. Our aim is to provide our students the lifelong learning and leadership skills that enable them to grow in their profession and advance to positions of responsibility by effective Industry-Institute Interaction. |
